New Christian?
Roz lives to fulfil her call to preach the Good News that Jesus Christ is alive today and through the power of the Holy Spirit, He is still here upon the earth to meet the needs of fallen humanity, both in the saving of the soul and gaining eternal life (John 3 -16) and in healing of the body (Matt. 8-17), to those who believe.

PHILIPPINES MINISTRY
After arriving in Cebu we had a much needed overnight rest, leaving Janey with Ester, whilst Diana and I flew to Negros. I had been to the southern part of this island before but not to this area. Bacalod is on the north eastern coast. After landing we
traveled for about an hour into the rural area. That night, after staying in a basic hotel commenced my much awaited ministry in that area.
For several years I had heard about the large army camp near here and had gone to great lengths to make arrangements to preach there. However, upon arriving at the base I was rather despondent, being confronted with only twelve men to preach to when I was expecting more than a thousand. Nevertheless, praise the Lord, ten of them responded to the Gospel, including our driver! I was determined to see more souls saved though – somewhere. It was this point of desperation that I remembered the words of my pastor before leaving for this mission, in which he gave a prophetic word saying that I would have a big disappointment, but not to worry for God has something else. I said to the pastors with me “I'm an evangelist – use me! There must be something else I can do.” “What about an open-air nearby – can we hire a local plaza, get a church to come with a band” Hastily arrangements were made and we had a local crusade for one evening and Praise God for twenty five young people coming to the Lord that night.
In the meanwhile, however, the local pastor said he could get me in the school nearby. I said that was a great idea and that afternoon we entered the local elementary school with over 600 pupils.
My colleague Diana did a puppet presentation and I followed it with preaching the Gospel, which over 400 children responded to the message. I did a mass prayer for all those that were sick and many raised their hands and testified that God had touched them.
After visiting a children church in Bacolod City, comprising of street kids, we held junior church for the morning, at which six were saved and several touched by the Holy Spirit. Back in Cebu and meeting up with the rest of the team, we both preached in churches on the Sunday morning, visited a local hospital in the afternoon and Monday morning visited two prisons. My colleague, evangelist Esther Anderson, preaching at the womens prison and me at the youth offenders, where more than 15 gave their hearts to the Lord.
On the Tuesday we were suddenly summoned by our host pastor to visit a school up in the mountains – a place I had been to on my last visit and saw good fruit. Unfortunately, we had to
preach class room by classroom, in one afternoon. At this point I was very glad to have another evangelist working with me. We shared 11 classrooms between us and about 350 children responded to the message. What a wonderful farewell to Cebu as we sailed away the following day to the island of Bohol.
After relaxing the rest of the day we visited another prison the following morning. I had been in this prison two years ago and was amazed at the transformation! Previously a dirty courtyard and all over run down impression, was replaced by flower beds, cleanliness and an atmosphere of hope. The prisoners put on a special show for us and afterwards we had the opportunity to preach the Gospel whereupon 88 prisoners gave their hearts to the Lord and many testified of being healed. On the Friday of the following week I returned to this prison. We were happy to give out 88 bibles to the new converts and took other provisions for the whole prison, which they readily received. I
did a mass healing prayer and over 18 prisoners came forward to testify that God had healed them where they stood. What a wonderful God we serve
