Dear John
Greetings from Pune. Hope you and Bron are well.
I have been teaching some main points of the SOH [School of Healing] in the YWAM DTS's [Youth With A Mission Discipleship Training Schools]. I teach around eight times a year in different parts of India.
There have been many healings. One staff member had bad chest pains for years, she was out of the classroom and I said to the class, ‘Is there anyone here with chest pains?’ and almost all the class said this particular staff member has that problem, and has been on medication for years. When she came into the class I said to her, ‘Do you have bad chest pains?’ She said, ‘How do you know?’ She was so surprised. I got two class members to pray for her and later in the day she was healed. Praise God!
Usually I would teach evangelism for one week of mornings for two hours, then one hour in the evenings. Now I'm beginning to use the evening session to teach the SOH. So when they go on their three month outreach they learn not only how to evangelise but also they are equipped how to heal the sick. Some of the feed back has been very encouraging.
