New Christian?
Since my 2009 recce, JFM has decided to focus its overseas resources and attention on this nation which is ripe for the gospel. The church there is growing extremely fast, the doors are open (at the moment!) and they need all the help they can get.
We are therefore planning to return as often as we can. We plan to go next in October 2010. Why not come?
Our mission
We hold Schools of Healing, Pastors’ Meetings and Crusades. We also plan to be involved in humanitarian work as the opportunity arises, especially in unreached villages, of which there are still many thousands. The needs in cities are different from the rural areas. Kathmandu is currently well served with visiting ministries, so our heart is to work elsewhere.
In smaller towns the church is growing very fast, but is still very young and congregations small. Pastors need all the help they can get in training, literature, encouragement and resources. Churches need teaching in

In rural areas, many of which are very remote, the need is for local ‘barefoot missionaries’ to live in villages and plant churches. Many are being trained as I write, but the need is huge. These missionaries need support. There is also a desperate need for infrastructure: schools, water supply and basic health care and education.
When we went in 2007, over 500 were saved in two short and small meetings. We have just seen 1000 saved at Easter, 2010. We also see dramatic miracles.
