sick and needy people. Some were healed through prayer, some were delivered of demons, and many received medical treatment from the doctor. Again, it was an unprecedented style of ministry in this area.
Meanwhile John flew to Ilam, home of some of the finest tea in the world, to research future possibilities for ministry. Perched on a hillside several hours from the plains in the south-eastern corner of Nepal, it is beautiful, remote, and badly in need of the gospel. But faithful, local people are working there, and there might well be opportunities for us next year.
We will return to Nepalgunj at Easter with a larger team, God willing, and are trusting him for many souls. Why not join us? More details

In September we flew to Sydney for our nephew’s wedding, only to hear that a tornado had wrecked our property. John returned forthwith, to find the bedroom without a roof, and the garden in ruins. But although we lost over 20 mature trees, including some real favourites, by a miracle of God not a single new planting (and we’ve planted 200 trees this winter) was touched. But we did spend a whole weekend with a team of 50 helpers picking up glass from the neighbour’s glasshouses! The rest of the clean up has taken months, and we have firewood for Africa!
Latest news: We continue to minister around New Zealand, recently in Napier and Te Awamutu, and continue to see God working miracles of healing. One lady in Napier was able to kneel and run up stairs for the first time for years. Praise the Lord! God is good.
